The professional and Master instructors at RES-PECT are dynamic, they bring a diversity of knowledge and experience to our program. The RES-PECT Master Instructor have direct, and professional experience in the areas of education, administration, health care, substance abuse counseling.In additiona to that they are certified Residential child and youth care professionals. Our Master Instructors are able to teach in a variety of settings and help customize and meet your facility and staff needs.
Mr. Ford has over thirty years of experience in the Mental Health care field. He serves as a chemical dependency counselor (CDC) for the state of Alaska. He has served as the executive director for the Alaskan Youth Village in Juneau Alaska, and currently the Director of training and substance abuse counselor for the Boys and Girls Home- Alaska. The past 14 years as the Trainer and substance abuse counselor for Family Centered Service of Alaska. Mr Ford worked with street gangs in California, and contract work with the California Youth Authority. Mr. Ford has not only worked in areas of administration but also as a counselor and a foster parent. Mr. Ford’s work experience’s also include working with rehabilitating violent sex offenders, Severely Emotionally Disturbed, Fetal Alcohol affected, High school/Junior High school, group homes and facilities. Mr. Ford has over thirty years experience in the areas of de-escalation, crisis management, anger management and physical control techniques.
Mr. Wick has been involved in personal protection and safety for more than thirty years. He serves as a professional consultant in the area of protective services. Mr. Wick is the creator of Wick’s Body Logic and Split Second Survival defense system. He has remained active in the martial arts community for the past 40 years. He has also been a mentor to high risk youth. He is an international master instructor and active board member of the world Tang Soo Do Karate Association. Mr. Wick has been serving as a security consultant in the design of mental health facilities
